I am a biologist, and I have just completed a PhD in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Analysis, studying the effect of land use alteration on vertebrate communities of fragmented woodland. In the past few years I have been involved in several projects involving monitoring of wildlife populations and management plan development for local protected areas. I am essentially interested in conservation biology and how it could be feasibly integrated in the management actions that affect ecosystems and species.
