Maya Academy was established to equip people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build planet-friendly enterprises, grow purpose-led organisations, and become effective change-makers in complex systems.

At its heart, Maya Academy is about turning values, evidence, and intention into real-world action — for people and planet.

Our long-term vision is to create physical academies located on Maya Reserves around the world, where learning, practice, and regeneration happen together.

A Proven Track Record in Impact Training

Maya Academy has a significant and internationally recognised track record in impact training and knowledge exchange.

In 2013, Maya Academy pioneered one of the first structured approaches to Research Impact training, developed in collaboration with Prof Mark Reed and grounded in original academic research.

This work was based on peer-reviewed research published in 2014 by Dr Ana Attlee (A.C. Evely) alongside Mark Reed, Lindsay Stringer, Ioan Fazey, and colleagues.
The research was funded by the UK Government’s Research Councils and focused on how knowledge can be more effectively exchanged to create meaningful societal impact.
