Livia is a biologist, with a PhD in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Analysis, studying the effect of land use alteration on vertebrate communities of fragmented woodland. In the past few years Livia has been involved in several projects involving monitoring of wildlife populations and management plan development for local protected areas. She is essentially interested in conservation biology and how it could be feasibly integrated in the management actions that affect ecosystems and species.





In the heart of Clawton, straddling the border between Devon and Cornwall, lies Luna Meadow Nature Reserve, a once monoculture farmland now on its way to becoming a thriving ecosystem.
